First of all, I would like to emphasize on the fact that, I fully understand and share your concerns on this very sensitive issue.

I hope you will find answers to most of your concerns in the explanations below. However, if you require further information we have prepared a Cover Letter and an Application Form which is available on request by contacting us on the CONTACT US page.

I have been living in the United Kingdom since my early childhood where initially I was sent to a British Boarding School in Isle of Wight, then moved to London at the age of 18 and have been living here ever since.

Therefore, my education and my upbringing is under the influence of the Western values as well as the traditional Turkish values. We always had a family home here in London and I consider England my home.

At some point in my life, I lived and had several business interests in Istanbul, Turkey.

The reason I’m telling you all this is that I fully understand the Western values as well as the Turkish values. I remember when I was young living in Istanbul before going to school in England, we had a Greek family living in with us in our house, and most of our friends and people around us were Greeks (Romans).

Hence, I am very much aware of what happened to the (Romans) Greek minorities in Turkey. I know the situation succeeding the cessation of the Ottoman Empire at the end of WWI and the formation of the Republic of Turkey, where the Greek minorities were not given Turkish citizenship and deprived of their rights to sell, donate or transfer their own assets in their home lands. And after the events in 1964, most of the remaining Greek minorities left Turkey leaving behind all their assets..

Consequently, these assets remained unattended for a long time and were eventually assumed by Third Parties.

Currently the legal environment in Turkey is in favour of the living heirs/inheritors to recover their ancestors’ assets.

The similar fate that I mentioned above is the fact that, assets belonging to my ancestors’ family foundations were also assumed by Third Parties in Turkey and for this reason, I have already established a team of lawyers and researchers to identify, locate and recover these assets on behalf of my family.

So, this is the birth history of Hera Assets.

WHAT WE AS HERA ASSETS LIMITED ARE REALLY DOING IS TO TAKE FULL FINANCIAL RISK BY PAYING FOR ALL THE UPFRONT COSTS, CHARGES, EXPENSES AND FEES, INCLUDING THE LEGAL FEES, ATTORNEY FEES, PROFESSIONAL FEES, THE NECESSARY DOWN-PAYMENTS FOR THE OPENING OF THE LAWSUITS, AS WELL AS THE INHERITANCE TAX, VAT ETC. ON BEHALF OF THE CLIENT AND FILE, FOLLOW UP AND FINALISE ALL THE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS TO CLAIM THE BEST COMPENSATION FOR THE CLIENT AND WE RECEIVE OUR FEE AT THE END OF THE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS WHEN OUR CLIENT RECEIVES IN FULL THE COMPENSATION ORDERED BY THE TURKISH COURTS.

All the services we provide and our duties and obligations are clearly written in the Service Agreement that we will ask you to sign if you decide to be a Client.

One of the most important deterrent factors for any Greek family member not to make an attempt for the recovery of their ancestors’ assets is the fact that they do not know exactly what they are getting into and who to contact and who to trust to do this work on their behalf and who would be willing to take a financial risk for the cost of the legal proceedings.

I believe we as Hera Assets are in a position to fulfil and address all these issues and concerns you may have by taking full financial risk with a track record of recovering the assumed assets of my own family.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you in person and hopefully we can do this in Istanbul one day. I will be very pleased to take you around the Constantinople and talk about history etc.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Vedat Yelkenci
